Stamford Studio
Formally The Rug Studio - Uppingham
Stamford is the working studio, a good variety of rugs antique and new.
Oriental, Traditional and Contemporary rugs, specialising in hand knotting and natural dyes.
Something for everyone, here each rug is essentially a sample, while still available to purchase!
Like this but bigger/ smaller or different colour that’s what London or India is for. Let the team work their magic, sourcing specifically for your needs.

Tuesday & Friday 10am - 5.30pm
Closed 1pm - 2pm for lunch

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday by appointment
(occasionally we may need to close for client appointments, we recommend to call ahead before visiting to ensure we are open.
Parking available directly outside for drop off and collections
Our Stamford studio is located on the door step of Burghley House, famous for The Burghley Horse Trials. We are also a short journey away from Rutland and the market town of Oakham.
Hemswell
Based in The Guardroom, Hemswell Antique Centre. This is where you will find our Antique collection. As Europes largest antique centre it is worth taking a little extra time when you visit to appreciate the collections on offer here.
With parking available and an onsite cafe for refreshments.

Good quality antique rugs, carpets, and kilims, including some of Rachel’s personal collection of antique rare textiles.
A little bit of all Rachels’s style, her personal taste, and buying qualities are shown at their best.
